With this range of possibilities, folding glass doors from Solarlux are a paragon of living concepts. Large glass panels create spaces suffused with daylight. Thresholds vanish as the glazing elements fold to merge indoors and outdoors. A five-metre-wide folding glass door can be easily folded away into a neat space-saving package of a mere 50 cm in width – you can’t get more open than this! Choose from a wide range of German engineered systems made of aluminium, wood or a mixture of wood and aluminium.

SL60 Bifold Doors

SYSTEM Floor mounted (standard) or top-hung folding glass door. Panels can be ordered to open either internally or externally, to the left and/or right SYSTEM PROFILE Element thickness 59 mm Narrow frames and panel profiles (panel joint 130 mm) High stability due to tongue-and-groove interlocking panel profile and robust corner joints with thermal insulation. Flush floor track without upstand for disabled access available. Sealed against wind and rain by double wraparound seal.

GLAZING Heat-insulating glass as standard Ug = 1,1 W/m2 K (k = 1,0) with 2 x 4 mm saftey glass. Triple glazing available. Glass thicknesses from 5 to 40 mm available.

WINDOW/DOOR SYSTEM Complete window systems to match folding glass façade: tilt and turn, parallel slide and tilt, fixed units.

SL82 Bifold Doors

SYSTEM Available as floor-mounted folding glass door. Can be folded inwards, to the left and/or to the right System Profile 80 mm element thickness. Slim line profile surrounding the glass panes. Triple wraparound sealing for protection from wind and rain. The integrated multi-point locking system and the ergonomic door handle with catch bolt, lock and profile cylinder ensure high security. Opening and closing of the units is also possible from the outside with handles which are bolted through the glass doors and these are lockable using a profile cylinder. Flush floor track without upstand for barrier free entrance

GLAZING Layered heat insulated glass. Triple-glazing available. Overall thickness of the sealed units 30 to 38 mm ı U g = 0,7 W/m 2 K (k = 0,6) with 1 x 6 mm single pane safety glass at the outside, space between panes 12 mm, centre pane 1 x 4 mm glass, space between panes 12 mm, inside pane 1 x 4 mm saftey glass

Slim frame and panel profiles (panel joint 169 mm) Heat-insulated wood/aluminium profile system: laminated wood panel frames with technical solid mortice and tenon joints on the inside and protecting aluminium cladding profiles on the outside. Double wraparound seal protects from wind and rain. Wood from sustainably sourced forests are also available.

GLAZING Heat-insulating glass as standard. U g = 1,1 W/m 2 K with 2 x 4 mm toughened glass. Maximum glazing depth 26 — 32 mm
