Over 20 years experience has gone into the development of our automated manufacturing plant, where our extensive range of machines enables us to manufacture a wide range of custom designed windows, doors and conservatories.
The process starts with the input of the frame detail on to our computerised manufacturing and tracking system.

From here the data is automatically fed into the sawing and machining centres, where the profile is cut and prepared ready for the main production lines.

Once the profile is cut, it flows through the factory to be drained, routed and reinforced on its way to welding. The profiles are then fusion welded on fully automatic welding machines. At this stage the manufacturing process splits the frames and sashes into two separate lines.

After welding, the frames are sent to fully automatic corner cleaners and
transom groovers which pre-drill and clean off all excess sprue.
To ensure windows and conservatories are weather proofed, EPDM gaskets are
inserted into the special profile. At this stage the sashes are prepared
in a similar manner but the furniture is applied on a separate line using
stainless steel screws and fittings.

The frames and sashes are then brought together. The sashes are fitted into the frames, and the windows are glazed.
During the manufacturing processes, Quality Control Inspectors patrol the factory at all times, but the products are still checked again by the Quality Control department as a final inspection.
Designed and extruded in the UK to BS EN ISO9002:1994, our profile and manufacturing processes are covered by British Standard Kitemarks 7412, 7413, 7950 and 1279.
